Three of our girls travelled to Wollaton Park, Nottingham on a very blustery Sunday (25 August) for the annual MNR girls Championships.
Despite the difficult conditions, all the girls played well and Congratulations go to Denni Coleman for winning the best Nett over 36 holes with a score of 136, despite having to take 5 off the first tee in the second round and scoring a 9 on the hole!! Denni had an exceptional day and dropped her handicap by 2.2 over the day.

Katelyn Wilkie had a great afternoon and won the best gross prize for the afternoon round shooting a 77 in extremely tough conditions.

The three girls Katelyn, Denni and Sophie Brothwood all formed a scratch team and narrowly missed out on the runners up place on countback. Well done Girls!
