The Juniors welcomed Worcestershire and Herefordshire to The Astbury on Monday 21 August for the annual Jessica Smith trophy match.
Six of the squad played in a scratch match:
Lauren Crump; Izzy Negron Hennings; Katelyn Wilkie; Seren Ramsey; Sophie Brothwood; Jess Warren all faced a very strong W&H team and with 2 matches going all the way to the 18th hole, managed a 3-3 draw which means we retain the trophy this year – a close one!

Lily Griffiths, Lucy Crump, Denni Coleman, Charlotte Barnes and Nevaeh Kirwan played in a friendly match and again with 2 matches going all the way to the 18th were unlucky to lose 3½ – 1½
The squad welcomed 2 newcomers Meara Coleman (Llanymynech) and Gangotri Skariah (The Shropshire) who played a friendly game behind the matches to gain experience.
