18 girls from Denbighsire & Flintshire, Cheshire and Shropshire met at Wrexham Golf club on Sunday 27 August to battle it out in the annual Tri-match.
Junior Girls’ Tri-Match Teams with Squad Captains
The girls played 18 holes of stableford format and their scores were totalled up to see who would take the trophy. The Shropshire team got off to a flying start with our County Captain Seren Ramsey bringing home 37 points, Denni Coleman supported her Llanymynech team mate with another 37. Denbighshire and Flintshire started to fight back towards the later stages of the match but the girls held on to our great start and came in with a victory by 8 points!
