An enjoyable match was played by the County Senior Ladies’ team versus Worcestershire and Herefordshire Lady Veterans Golf Society at Kings Norton Golf Club, Warwickshire on Wednesday.
The weather was very warm again and the course was presented in superb condition.
WHLVGS fielded four players from Kings Norton and so full home advantage was taken. The final result was a win for the WHLVGS 5 ½ to 2 ½ .
There were good wins for the partnerships of Ros Moor with Anne Belshaw and Margaret Ratcliffe with Sue Jarman and a halved match for Sue Pidgeon with Jill Adams.
We are looking forward to hosting the return match in Shropshire next year.
