A Seniors team travelled to Kings Norton GC to play a 4BBB friendly handicap match against senior ladies from Herefordshire & Worcestershire. On playing the blue/ red courses, despite their efforts, Shropshire were defeated 5½ – 2½.
During the proceedings two SLCGA senior ladies, Lesley Taylor and Victoria Hawkins received their Senior County colours.
