SLCGA Seniors played a 4BBB Scratch match against North Wales at LLanymynech on Monday 14th April. The course remained very dry after all the recent good weather which resulted in some unpredictable bounces. A good spirited match was fought against a strong Welsh team only for Shropshire to lose 3-2.

Di Edwards, past Senior Captain, donated a trophy for the event naming it the Challenge Trophy. She presented it, alongside current Seniors’ Captain, Sue Nichols to North Wales Captain Shelagh Shepherd.
