12 of our juniors travelled to Halesowen Golf Club for the annual Jessica Smith Match against Hereford and Worcestershire. A scratch team of Ellie Potts, Xrya Van der Merwe, Abby Birchall, Djalce Van der Merwe, Lizzy Rooney and Evie Anderson put up a valiant effort against a very strong team of opponents but suffered a defeat of 5-1. The handicap team of Jess Warren; Seren Ramsey; Harriet Crump; Lottie Pryce; Jess Roberts and Lily Griffiths played well and with the final match down to the wire on the 18th, we came in with a well deserved 3-3 draw. WELL DONE GIRLS. Thanks to Lesley Taylor for her support and expert caddying on a very tough course!!
