Our juniors put up a great performance at Thonock Park, Lincolnshire in two scratch matches on July 24.
The morning session saw an established Lincolnshire team take on our rookies and in some close matches we finally succumbed to a 3-1 loss. The afternoon session was a different matter! The three singles girls played some stunning golf with one half and two wins against Derbyshire. The rookie pairing of Isabelle Price (Hill Valley) and Nevaeh Kirwan (Wrekin) turned around a 4 down foursomes match to a victorious 2 &1 win. A great 3 and a half to a half win against Derbyshire. Congratulations to all our girls, but special mention to Aliyah Summers who won both her singles matches in her first outing for the Shropshire girls scratch team.
