Captain’s report:- ‘Well done to all the ladies who played for Shropshire today against Herefordshire & Worcestershire’s 1st Team players. Our team, in alphabetical order, were:-

The match result was a win for Herefordshire & Worcestershire 5 1/2 to 3 1/2. Congratulations to Lauren and Lucy for the half in the foursomes and to Lauren, Lucy and Katelyn for their wins in the singles. The matches were all played in the best spirit and the opposition was very tough.
A particular mention to Katelyn for having a hole in one on the 7th hole.
Today was the debut of Sophie and Lucy in playing 1st team – well done both.
Thank you to everyone for their support today. This was a great opportunity to play a friendly match against high standard opposition which will help us prepare for County Week.’
