The County 2nds played their first home match, on a very wet day, against an excellent Staffordshire side, at Oswestry G C on 11th July. The morning foursomes, unfortunately, resulted in a loss for Shropshire ½ – 2 ½. After the afternoon singles the final score was a win for Staffordshire 7 ½ and Shropshire 1½
It was a tough day and result, although it was enjoyed by everyone.

It was great to welcome three new members to the team, namely Emma, Helen & Abi.
