After winning SLCGA County Scratch League last year, Shifnal Ladies’ Scratch Team competed at Hessle GC in the English Women’s Champion Club Competition. The 3 team members, Alex Ling, Fern Clark & Ann Peters played two rounds stroke play with the two best scratch scores counting from each day. The team tied with North Hants after the final round only to be beaten on aggregate scores counting from all three players. Well done Shifnal!
