SLCGA Seniors played a match against Staffs Senior Ladies at Chesterton Valley GC on Thursday 23rd May. The course was very enjoyable despite all bunkers being classed as GUR after the recent rain.
Unfortunately SLCGA lost the fixture 4.5 to 3.5. We were all square up to the last match which we lost on the 18th so it was very close. Three of the matches were halved.
The team was Sara Bowden, Sue Nichols, Bernadette Micklewright, Linda Mottram, Isabel Green, Hilary Fowles, Di Edwards, Julie Wales, Anne Belshaw, Sam Clark, Catherine Wilson, Jane O’Brien, Norma Hughes, Sue Pidgeon, Carole Charmley and Louisa Goff.
