The semi finals and finals of the above took place at Bridgnorth GC on Saturday August 24th.
The first semi final between Olive Brown of Shifnal and Anita Morley of Bridgnorth ended in a win for Olive Brown 5&4. The second semi final between Chris Evans of Llanymynech and Trish McGloin of The Shropshire was a close match won by Chris when she chipped in for a 4 on the 18th hole to win 1 up!
The final in the afternoon between Chris and Olive was a very close match with only ever 1 hole between them. The sun came out and a small group enjoyed watching some fabulous shots played in the best of spirits. Standing on the 18th tee they were all square. Two good tee shots but Olive managed to win the hole to take the Championship. Congratulations to her, all four qualifiers, all who originally entered and President Sally Goulds for refereeing the final.
