The Midland Vets Team Championship is currently underway on the Hawkstone Course at Hawkstone Park Golf Club. Teams of 4 players compete for both Gross and Nett prizes. Shropshire has entered two teams this year. Team 1: Captain- Ann Peters 5.7 Tania Pearce 3.8 Louisa Goff 6.6 Bernadette Micklewright 7.8. Team 2: Captain – Ros Moor 9.9 Ali Grove 9.8 Alice Drewnicki 12.2 Angeline Ooi 13.8.
The first day’s practice round was a Greensome format in which Tania & Ann achieved 3rd place. The following two days format is individual medal. The best 3 scores from each team count towards the team’s overall score.
