Four of our Senior ladies represented Shropshire at the 3 day Midland Vets Ladies Golf Team event at Gog Magog GC, Cambridge. Team: Alice Drewnicki (Lilleshall), Ros Moor (Shifnal), Ann Peters (Shifnal) & Jan Sheargold (The Shropshire). Sixteen teams entered from all around the Midland region (individuals’ handicap limit 14). After the Greensome practice round on the Monday each team member played two medal rounds from which the best 3 scores on each day counted towards the team score. Shropshire team finished 9th in Gross competition and 10th in Handicap competition. Congratulations to Ann Peters who achieved a Scratch prize for her first round.
