The Juniors played in two Scratch Matches at The Telford Golf Club on Saturday 14th July.
We had a very close fought match against Derbyshire losing 3½-2½. The team of Isla MacDonald, Rebecca Hollywell, Katie Halliday, Georgia Anderson and Scarlett Duthie all performed well and this result could easily have been reversed, with 2 games only been lost 2 and 1.
In the afternoon match the team pictured above, of Isla Macdonald, Rebecca Hollywell, Katie Halliday, Jess Simpson and Xyra Van Der Merwe achieved an excellent win over Nottinghamshire.
We now look forward to the finals in August at Trent Lock where we will face Staffordshire. Well played Team Shropshire!!
