JESSICA SMITH TROPHY – Shropshire vs Hereford & Worcs
The Shropshire team consisted of Victoria (Captain), Meghan (Vice-Captain), Elle Potts, Charlie Payne, Katie Halliday and Harriet Crump.
Shropshire won two matches and lost 4. All matches were played off Scratch. Elle, Charlie, Katie and Harriet had to give at least 12 shots each but they all fought valiantly and the matches went to the 14th and 16th holes.
MNR Festival of Golf was held at Trent Lock 21st August
Ten girls competed for Shropshire:- Victoria (Captain), Rebecca Hollywell, Isla Mc Donald-O’Brien, Elle Potts, Katie Halliday, and Lizzy Rooney. Katie Halliday won a prize for Chipping.
Non Handicap section:- Seren Ramsey, Jessica Roberts, Grace Jones, Rhian Jones. Prizes for Putting and Chipping were won by Jessica & the Nine hole competition was won by Grace Jones.
