The Junior end of season meeting took place where many awards were presented and incoming Captains were announced.
LAUREN RECEIVES COUNTY COLOURS
Lauren Crump was presented with her County Colours yesterday at the Junior Girls end of Season get together. Lauren played her 10th game for the main County first team at County week this year, earning her colours from County Captain Hilary Fowles. Well done Lauren.

Three juniors obtained their County Colours for representing the Scratch team at least 6 times. The girls were awarded their honours by Hilary Fowles at the End of Season Christmas get together. Jess Warren (Junior County Captain 2023), Katelyn Wilkie and Lauren Crump.

JUNIOR GIRLS ORDER OF MERIT 2023
The Juniors were invited to play in the first Shropshire Girls’ Order of Merit Competition this season. They needed to play in at least 3 competitions taking place over at least 2 different courses. The girls had the opportunity to gain points depending upon their finishing positions in their best three events. There were a total of 8 events that the girls could play in throughout the season and points were tallied up for both a gross and a nett winner.
Winner of the Gross title was Katelyn Wilkie from Lilleshall with a score of 450 points. Sophie Brothwood from Wrekin finished in second place with 370 points.

In the Nett event, Denni Coleman from Lanymynech came out on top with 390 points, closely followed by Lucy Crump (Hill Valley) on 360 points.
