The annual Greensomes event was held on Wednesday 24th April at Hill Valley Golf Course. We were very lucky with the weather and all managed to get in before the deluge!! We had 13 junior entries who took part in a greensomes competition on the Sapphire Course with their Lady Partners. The result was VERY TIGHT with 3 teams finishing on 37 points and count back was required to find the final placings.
RESULTS:- 1st Lizzie Rooney and Kathy James Shifnal Golf Club 37c/b. 2nd Isla MacDonald-O;Brien and Jo Cole Lillehsall Hall 37 c/b. 3rd Evie Anderson and Georgia Anderson Market Drayton 37 c/b.
The winners of the non handicappers 9 hole event were Rhian Jones and Barbara Parnell from Arscott Golf Club.
