SLCGA and SHUGC joined forces on 31st October to hold a fun Texas Scramble event for our County Juniors. 8 County Girls (Ellie Potts, Djalece van der Merwe, Xyra can der Merwe, Lizzie Rooney, Seren Ramsey, Jess Warren, Lily Griffiths and Jess Roberts) donned their Halloween costumes and joined 8 boys from Shropshire and Herefordshire to take part in a fun day of golf. The competition was held over 14 holes and was followed by a two course meal – including green and ghoulish custard!! The winning team was Jess Roberts (Arscott), Lily Griffiths (The Shropshire), Harri Matthews (Oswestry) and Jack Helm (Burgh Hill Valley) with a spine tingling net score of 43.9!!!
