The County girls played a mixed friendly at Wrekin on Sunday 10 April as a pre-season warm up match. The team of six girls included Jess Warren (County Junior Vice Captain); Katelyn Wilkie; Lauren Crump; Lucy Crump, Lily Griffiths and Seren Ramsey. The team played against 6 of Wrekins finest – Toby Davies; Sophie Brothwood; Dan Bailey; Jack Dirkin; Harry Slater and Ross Coleman.. The results were all very close with all matches going to at least the 16th and 3 going up the 18th. Finally the girls won 41/2 to 11/2. This is a fantastic way to get the girls ready for the competitive season and I would like to thank Jason Warren Junior Organiser at Wrekin GC for all his work in arranging this event and supporting the County Girls.
