The 2nd team played their second match at home against Derbyshire at Shifnal Golf Club in sweltering conditions. Morning foursomes saw honours even at 1 1/2 -1 1/2 with some excellent golf played despite temperatures of 30 degrees. The afternoon singles were again a close affair with two matches finishing on the 18th hole. Derbyshire just edged the singles 3 1/2 – 2 1/2 resulting in an overall win for Derbyshire 5 – 4. Thanks to Harriet Allsebrook, Katie Halliday, Jane Jones, Jan Sheargold, Ros Moor and Lauren Crump for playing and to Lauren on winning 1 1/2 points for the team on her debut.
