The semi- finals and final of the SLCGA Senior Championship took place at Astbury GC. The semi finals were
Ann Peters (Shifnal) v Lucy Taylor (Horsehay)
Isabel Green (Shrewsbury) v Marie O’Sullivan (Shrewsbury)
This was a debut for both Lucy and Marie. Ann won the first match 4&3 and Isabel won the second match 6&4. The final was a hard fought match with Ann, the successful defending champion, emerging the winner on 6&4.
