The Juniors v Senior Ladies match was held at Horsehay GC on Saturday 30th September was very wet and windy but we played 15 holes.
The winners were Harriet Crump, Katie Halliday & Sue Field, 2nd were Djalece and Xyra van de Merwe & Barbara Waddington, 3rd Jessica Pitchford, Ellie Potts and Lol Petford.

‘Congratulations to Wrekin and Oswestry on getting through to the final of the Scratch League, which will take place on Sunday 1st October at Shrewsbury Golf Club. The first tee time is 2.00p.m.

Report from Anne Belshaw:-
What a wonderful day, the weather held, the course was clear and we enjoyed roast turkey and mouth watering cheesecake afterwards. Thank you ladies for playing in our last full engagement of the season. A great deal of fun was had by all. The gentleman edged into gold medal position with 269 points and we came a very close second with 265. Thank you gentlemen for providing the wine and we look forward to a rematch in 2018.
